Airport Transportation

The Kansas City Airport (MCI) is located on the far north side of Kansas City on the Missouri side. The airport is approximately 24 miles from the Country Club Plaza. The drive from the airport to the Country Club Plaza is approximately 35-40 minutes.

Rental Car - A rental car is probably not necessary unless you plan on visiting friends or sight seeing in the area. All the wedding activities will be located on the Country Club Plaza and are primarily located within walking distance. Transportation from the Hotel Fairmount to the Church and back to the Hotel will be provided. In addition, getting from the airport to the Country Club Plaza can be a little tricky, if you are not familiar with the area.

Taxi Service - Taxis are available at the airport. The taxi ride from the airport to the Country Club Plaza area will cost approximately $45.00 one-way.

Lincoln Towncar Sedan/Stretch Limousines - We have negotiated a special rate with Executive Limousines for airport transportation. They can provide either Lincoln Towncar Sedans or Stretch Limousines. A reservation must be made 24 hours prior to pick-up. Please identify yourselves as being part of the Weisenborn/Deutschmann wedding to receive the rate quoted below:

Lincoln Towncar Sedan - $48.00 one-way. The Towncar can accommodate up to 5 passengers with limited luggage.

Stretch Limousines - $85.00 one-way. The Limousine can accommodate 8-10 passengers.

Ceremony/Reception Transportation

Transportation will be provided to the Community Christian Church for the ceremony and back to the Fairmont Hotel for the reception. A 29 passenger Mini-bus service will begin at 4:00 pm and will shuttle continuously between the Hotel and Church up to 8:00 PM.
