Kiwanis Club of Carthage

Habitat for Humanity continues work on its most recent project house here in Carthage. Work hours begin Saturday mornings at 8:00a.m. This house is located at the corner of south Scofield Street and Cherry Street.

If weather permits, help will be needed this Saturday, January 26. Please help if you can !!


***Brick sales have concluded. Pavilion construction will take place this spring during the month of April.***


American flag lapel pins are available for sale for a $5.00 donation each. This fundraiser is for the Kiwanis Foundation September 11, Victims Children's Fund.


Kiwanians, please turn in the pin money you have collected to Debbie Faulhaber, or return the pins to Rex ASAP!! Key Club has volunteered to try to sell the remainder of the pins.

All Kiwanians are encouraged to nominate an individual for Citizen of the Year, to be honored at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on February 16th.

The January 21st Kiwanis Soup Supper Fund Raiser at Carthage High School during the Bluegirls vs Rushville basketball game was a great success! Thank you, Jetty Walker and her committee for a job well done! Over $500.00 net was raised between the 50/50 drawing and the soup supper. We also donated leftover soup to Habitat for Humanity to feed workers on Saturday.
