We Build

We Build. The Kiwanis Club of Carthage has been fulfilling this simple motto for nearly eighty years. Since its inception in 1923, the Kiwanis Club of Carthage has been extremely proactive in building and strengthening its community, and has helped to shape and mold many community leaders in the process.

The Kiwanis Club of Carthage engages in many activities, from serving up pancake breakfasts and soup suppers, to delivering meals to the elderly and building homes with the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

But it is the programs that benefit children that most embody what the club represents. The club participates in, and gives to various programs that benefit local youth, including Reading is Fundamental (RIF), Spinoza Bear, and the annual Kiwanis Toy Share. The club also sponsors two Kiwanis youth programs: Key Club and Builders Club.

Through Young Children - Priority One, an initiative of Kiwanis International, the Kiwanis Club of Carthage has continued to help raise money for Spastic Paralysis research and Iodine Deficiency Disorder (IDD).

With a membership of nearly seventy men and women, today's Kiwanis Club of Carthage is stronger and more active than ever!
