Field Operations All field technicians are managed by Alter-Net's Services Group, which maintains full control over both field staff dispatching, and job materials purchasing. The Services Group works closely with the field staff to provide our customers with network cabling installation and support that is second to none. The Services Group will often work directly with the customer to confirm scheduled dates for work, and confirm with the field staff that they have all the required information and materials prior to arriving at the customer's site. Alter-Net provides ongoing training and updates to the field staff to ensure that our technicians have the most up-to-date information regarding new products and installation techniques. Alter-Net maintains a structured ratio of technicians at various training levels, from cabling installers through to senior cabling technicians. The Services Group ensures that all technicians dispatched are of the correct training level to meet the requirements of each project.
